Coral Rich-Flex® for coils up to 15KV
Coral®Rich-Flex™ is our bestselling system for coils and some bars. It is a standard Resin Rich (stage B) system for coils with insulation class F. The main characteristic is that the coils are fully cured and pressed in the slot portions, and the overhangs remain flexible, ideal to insert while rewinding.
Ideally used for high voltage motors, small generators, and hydro generator coils.
Advantages and special features:
- Resin Rich is a system that is highly trusted and used for many years.
- Resin Rich is widely used for motor and generator rewinding as well as for new machines.
- Resin Rich coils can be fully tested before they are inserted.
- Resin Rich does not need Drying, Impregnation and curing after insertion, so it is easy to use in repairs either in the field or at our customer’s shop.
- Resin Rich Flex is fully pressed in the slot portion, making sure that there is no air voids in this area, and as such an ideal insulation, with ideal Partial Discharge levels.
- Resin Rich Flex has flexible OH (overhang) portions. Allowing an easy insertion in the slot during rewinding.
- Resin Rich Flex allows an easy replacement of failed coils.
- Resin Rich technology, in general, allows easier removal and replacement of coils than global VPI.
