MoU Signed Between Velalar College of Engineering and Technology and Coral Manufacturing Works India Pvt. Ltd., Erode
An important milestone was achieved at Velalar College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Erode, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Coral Manufacturing Works India Pvt. Ltd., Erode, on 22nd July 2025. The event took place at the Career Development and Counselling (CDC) Cell, S. Duraisamy Gounder Campus, VCET.
The MoU was formally signed by Mr. R. Sivaram, General Manager – Human Resources, Coral Manufacturing Works, and Dr. M. Jayaraman, Principal, VCET. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Prof. S. Jayachandran, Dean – Administration, Dr. P. Sakthivel, Head of the Department – Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), and Dr. V. G. Pratheep, Chief Coordinator – Training and Placement Cell.
This collaboration aims to enhance industry-institute interactions through internships, industrial visits, training programs, expert lectures, and career opportunities for engineering students, particularly from the EEE department. The partnership is expected to bridge the skill gap between academia and industry, fostering mutual growth and knowledge exchange.
The Management and Faculty of VCET expressed their appreciation for this initiative, which reinforces the institution’s commitment to holistic student development and career readiness through strategic industry partnerships.
